Ethical Breeder Guidelines
At Tailyari, we believe every pet's journey should begin with care, transparency, and dignity. All platform sellers must strictly adhere to these standards.
1. The "Pet First" Philosophy
Minimum Age
No puppy or kitten may be listed or separated from its mother before they are 6 weeks (42 days) old.
Health Standards
Every animal must be in peak health, having received their first round of age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming.
Ethical Breeding
Dams (mothers) must be given adequate recovery time between litters. Over-breeding is a direct violation of standards.
2. Transparency & Documentation
To build trust with Jaipur's pet parents, all listings must be verified through the platform.
- Verified Medical Records: A digital copy or physical booklet of vaccination history signed by a registered vet.
- Authentic Visuals: You must provide high-quality, original photos of the actual pet. Stock photos are prohibited.
- Parental History: Clear information and photos of the parent animals to demonstrate breed standards and health traits.
3. The "Tailyari Verified" Badge
Stand out as an elite professional. Verified profiles receive a Gold Checkmark, higher search visibility, and a "Trusted by Tailyari" banner.
Verification Requirements:
Submission of valid KCI registration or equivalent certification.
Provision of a "Certified Fit to Breed" certificate for parent animals.
Identity and address verification within our service areas.
A successful facility walkthrough (video or in-person) by the Tailyari team.
4. Prohibited Practices & Enforcement
Zero Tolerance: The following actions will lead to an immediate ban and may be reported to the Animal Welfare Board of India.
The Strike System
(e.g., poor photo quality) Listing hidden until corrected.
(e.g., selling under-age pets) Immediate 30-day account suspension.
5. The Matchmaking Commitment
We are a matchmaking platform, not a classifieds site. Sellers must:
- Interview Buyers: Ensure the pet is going to a prepared and loving "forever home."
- Support the Transition: Provide guidance on the pet's current diet and temperament.
- Return Policy: Offer a "take-back" option if a buyer can no longer care for the pet.
