1. Purpose & Scope
The purpose of this MOU is to facilitate the listing of adoptable pets on The Platform. Both parties acknowledge that TailYari acts solely as a technological medium to connect potential adopters with rescued animals.
TailYari does not own, house, or individually verify the medical or behavioral condition of the pets listed by The NGO.
2. Roles & Responsibilities
TailYari's Duties
- Provide a robust digital interface to upload pet profiles, photographs, and detailed descriptions.
- Instantly forward adoption inquiries and applications securely to The NGO dashboard.
- Maintain platform infrastructure ensuring high search visibility for all listed pets.
The NGO's Duties
- Verification: Ensure all uploaded pet info (age, breed, health) is accurate and truthful.
- Screening: Independently conduct background checks, home visits, and applicant interviews.
- Authority: Maintain the exclusive right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.
3. Legal Clauses & Disclaimers
Intermediary Status
TailYari is an intermediary. We are not liable for disputes, injuries, or damages arising post-adoption between the NGO and the adopter.
No Warranty
The Platform makes no representations regarding the suitability, financial status, or intent of the forwarded applicants.
Legal Compliance
The NGO must remain fully compliant with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (PCA) Act, 1960 and local welfare laws in India.
Data Privacy
Both parties agree to handle applicant personal data (IDs, addresses) strictly in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
4. Terms & Termination
- This MOU is effective immediately from the date of registration on the platform.
- Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice to the other party.
- Upon termination, The NGO must remove all active listings and fulfill any pending adoption communications.
